WHy do I lose my WiFi connection every day?

Every day, since getting a new laptop, I lose my wifi connection and have to follow the troubleshooting steps in order to get back online. Most of the time, restarting my wifi network adapter gets me back online, but sometimes I have to try each step in turn until I get to the one where I choose a network. Then, after choosing my T-mobile network and entering my passcode, I am reconnected.

I have not had this problem until I began using my new Acer laptop.

Can anyone suggest a solution? Or is this a problem for T-Mobile? Or ACER?

Thank you very much for your help and advice.

Sorry to hear that you are having this problem. Since it started with the new Acer laptop, first try moving the laptop close to the T-Mobile gateway/router and use it there for a while. Does the Wi-Fi still disconnect when the signal is strong?

Also, when the Acer disconnects, please check whether another phone or computer connected to the same T-Mobile network remains online. If the other devices continue working, the problem is probably related to the Acer laptop rather than the T-Mobile service.

If only the Acer is affected, please try the following:

    1. Visit Acer’s support website and install the latest Wi-Fi driver available specifically for your laptop model.
    2. Open Device Manager > Network adapters, double-click the wireless adapter, select the Power Management tab, and clear “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”
    3. Restart the computer and test again.

Please let me know what happens.
