I cant open an existing Excel file

I am unable to open some of my excel files (noting I have changed my password recently). I get an error message "Sorry, we couldn't open ....." How can I get access to these files?

    Hi,

    As an initial step, could you please click File > Account > Click Sign out.

    Sign in again and let me know if it works.
