Artifact Signing organization identity validation failed after successful individual verification

I am onboarding a United States LLC for an Artifact Signing Public Trust certificate.

The authorized representative successfully completed the individual identity verification. The organization validation then changed to Validation Fail.

The Azure portal provides no failure reason, correlation ID, document-upload option, or instructions explaining what needs to be corrected.

Environment:

  • Public organization validation
  • United States LLC
  • Artifact Signing region: East US
  • Status: Validation Fail
  • Individual representative verification: Successfully completed
  • Azure support plan: Basic, so the portal will not allow a technical support request

Could a Microsoft Artifact Signing team member please advise how I can obtain a case-specific review or secure upload link?

I need to know:

  1. Which organization detail could not be verified.
  2. Whether the failed validation can be reopened.
  3. Whether I must create a new validation request.
  4. Which documents or corrected fields are required before resubmitting.

I have the subscription ID, Artifact Signing account name, and Identity Validation ID available privately for Microsoft support. I will not post those identifiers or identity documents publicly.

Update — August 14, 2026: I still have not received a response or a specific reason for the organization validation failure. My Basic Azure plan does not allow me to create a technical support request. Please route this to the Artifact Signing identity-validation team. I need to know the exact mismatch and whether Microsoft must reset the failed validation before I submit again. I can provide the full validation ID and business documents through a private Microsoft channel.
