while on the set up page, the windoes does not detect the face,it just displays a text to keep the face centered or look into the camera something like that .

Eventhough my face will be stable, centered properly visible ,it does not recognise.

I have tried deleted the biometrics services and restarting it,the problem still does not resolve

    Hi there!

Just to confirm if you are also using an infrared camera or an external infrared camera when setting up facial recognition on your device? Because signing in with your face requires a Hello-compatible camera following the Microsoft support page:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/configure-windows-hello

In the meantime, you can also try to update the camera and biometric drivers following:

    • In Device Manager, expand Cameras and Biometric devices.
    • Right-click each device and select Update driver.

Please don't hesitate to post back in the community and we fellow members will try our best to help. If there are any error messages, feel free to share a screenshot as well.
