Outlook Calendar Link to Alexa not working and cannot unlink

My outlook account is linked to our Alexa account for calendar notifications. Following a password change on my Microsoft account the link isn't working and the error in the Alexa App is "There is an error with this account. To access it, please ask the account owner to unlink and relink it". But I can find no option to do this through either my Microsoft Account or the Alexa App. I spoke to Alexa/Amazon support and they advised I need to contact Microsoft Support but I cannot find out how to do this.

Hello,

Changing the Microsoft account password invalidated the authorization Alexa was using to access the Outlook calendar. The calendar connection is mainly managed through Alexa, rather than through Outlook. I am surprised Amazon support sent you to Microsoft to get support. That's simply wrong.

In the Alexa app, make sure you are signed in with the Amazon account and Alexa profile that originally linked the calendar, then go to:

More > Settings > Preferences > Calendar

Select the Microsoft/Outlook account, the "unlink account" option is listed right under the email address. Then you can add it back.
