MS Update issue still preventing saving docs/excel etc

Further to the recent advice from MS re MS365 on my MacBook, software is up to date and I have updated all relevant apps. I am still unable to save changes on Excel, Word etc. Our family subscription is still current. I can see MS state they are having issues, are others simply waiting for an MS resolution to the issue? Thanks

You are correct, this problem is widely reported and most likely caused by the July 13 update

At the top left of your Desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?

    Thanks for your response.

After much searching for answers online, I happened to click into Excel within the open app, it showed as unlicensed (I have MS365 current license). I selected ‘About Microsoft Excel’ and noticed at foot of box which opened, an option to Renew License. Selected that, which addressed the problem across all relevant apps (Word etc).

Seems to have addressed my issue (ie I was unable to save amendments to docs/sheets).
