In Artifact Signing, I'm not able to complete the identity validation - the web page get stuck on "processing" after providing Verified Id

I’ve got stuck on the (Organization) Identity Validation step. The Status is “In Progress”. I have received the email with the link to verify my credentials. After opening the link, a QR Code “Present your Verified ID” is shown. First time I did not have a verified ID so I followed the link, created and added the Verified ID to Authenticator app on my phone. I re-opened the link (from email), scanned the QR code, authenticator app did the verification, and then the "Verify your credentials" web page had refreshed, removing the QR Code and displayed "Processing" with a spinner. And got stuck on that, nothing else happens.
I have tried multiple times, using different browser / computer, the same result. We (at the company) have tried with another account, the same result. The primary email matches the Verified ID email, also it matches my account with which I have created the Identity Verification request.
I have roles assigned:
• Artifact Signing Identity Verifier
• Artifact Signing Certificate Profile Signer
And just in case I have tried the following, changed nothing
• App Compliance Automation Administrator
• Managed Identity Contributor
I have used Edge web browser so this should not be compatibility issue (I would hope!). The (Microsoft) Authenticator app is up to date.

Gateway request ID: 3*****
Artifact Signing account name: SigningAccSavoySystems
Region: West Europe
What do I miss? Or is the process broken?

Alexander Tsuji 0 Reputation points2026-08-04T15:36:24.0333333+00:00 I'm having a lot of trouble with this artifact signing verification too. User experience is arguably broken and the support is awful, so I feel your pain.
Try using their 3rd party authentication service, I found better luck with that. I don't know if this will solve your problem, but I hope it helps

Based on the steps you described, it appears that the Microsoft Entra Verified ID verification was completed successfully, as the QR-code challenge was accepted and the page advanced to the "Processing" stage.
Since the issue is reproducible across multiple browsers, devices, and accounts, and you already have the required Artifact Signing roles assigned, this does not appear to be caused by client-side configuration.
At this stage, the behavior suggests that the identity validation workflow may be stuck during backend processing.As you provided the required information we will get back to you with an update.

I thought it might be related to server being in different timezone, but I have tried setting my laptop timezone to european and results were the same, so I don't think it was the reason neither. I still cannot complete the validation process.
