Does Outlook show any error message when you try to send or receive emails?
Please also check whether your email works through the web browser. For a Microsoft email account, sign in here: https://outlook.live.com/mail
If it works online, the issue is likely limited to the New Outlook app.
Please confirm:
- Is the email account Outlook.com, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, or another provider?
- Does Outlook show “Disconnected,” “Working offline,” or “Syncing”?
- Have you already restarted the computer since the Dell update?
