Copilot Tasks stuck for 15+ hours — force cancel not completing

I have a Copilot Task that has been stuck for over 15 hours.

I have attempted multiple force-cancel commands: “Force cancel all tasks for the Workbook and Unified Manual. Do not start any new tasks. Confirm cancellation only.”

No cancellation confirmation appears, and no new files are generated.

The issue occurs across all platforms:

Copilot on Windows (taskbar)

Copilot in Microsoft Edge

Copilot on mobile

Microsoft 365 Premium support confirmed they cannot cancel backend tasks manually and directed me here for engineering review.

Please advise or clear the stuck backend job.
