i can not set up auto redeem on microsoft rewards

every time i try to set up auto redeem on the $5 xbox gift card i can not because it only give me the option to verify with my phone which i can't because its marked as unavailable and wont let you do it. so i can't set it up because i can't do the verification with my phone and don't have the option to use the bing app.
