Dear Alessandro Puci,
Thank you for explaining the situation. I understand that you previously managed the family group as the organizer but left before adding another adult organizer. Your two children’s accounts are now still attached to that group, with no organizer available to remove or manage them.
Only a family organizer can remove child members, so this cannot be fixed from the children’s accounts or through normal device and browser troubleshooting. Since there is no longer an accessible organizer, this will need to be reviewed by Microsoft Support.
This is a user-to-user community forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft staff, cannot access your account, change Family Safety settings, intervene in Microsoft product features, or access back-end systems. We can only share possible solutions based on publicly available information and our own experience.
You can try reaching out to the Support Team (live chat) following the steps below:
- Go to: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
- In the search box, enter a short description of your issue, for example: Child accounts stuck in Family Safety group with no organizer
- Hit "Get Help"
- Scroll down and select Sign in to contact support for further assistance (please sign in using a personal Microsoft account). Then follow the on-screen prompts to reach Support Team.
Tip: Support chat availability may vary by country/region, product, and support hours. If you can't get in touch with a chat agent right away, trying again later or at a different time may help.
Hopefully your concerns will soon be addressed. Thank you so much for your patience!
Best regards.
