Access to my daughter's hotmail account

Hello,

last summer I set up a hotmail account for my daughter.

I have tried to retrieve the password but my recovery request keeps being denied.

I have tried to answer as many questions as possible about the account but it is asking me about emails sent from the account.

She has not yet used the account at all, and has not sent any messages. However the account is linked to my family account.

Is there another way to regain access?

If the 2FA is not active and the account does not have any linked verification methods for a password reset, I'm afraid the only way to recover your daughter's account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Important: If it has an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.
