Why can't I renew Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

Azure Developer Associate retired on July 31, 2026, which is why you cannot renew it. If you had renewed it on, say, July 30th, it would still be Active for another year.
The new replacement certification is Azure AI Cloud Developer Associate (AI-200). You will need to pass AI-200 exam in order to earn it.
