IBIS PAINT requires payment for the subscription via the Microsoft Store... I did it about a year ago ...but the subscription is now expired and we want to get a new subscription.

    Hello Felipe Serrano,

It looks like the US-issued card may not match the country or region configured for the Microsoft Store purchase.

Please check that these all reflect Panama:

    • Microsoft account country or region
    • Windows country or region
    • Card billing address

Then remove and add the payment method again using the exact billing details. If the US card is still rejected, you may need a payment method supported for your Panama account or help from Microsoft Support: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact

For a personal Microsoft Store purchase, the most likely cause is a country/region mismatch between the Microsoft account and the card.

    Try this in order:

    1. Check the Microsoft account country/region.
      • Go to Your info and Edit profile info.
      • If adding a payment method for another country, the account country must be changed before adding the card.
      • Microsoft recommends changing region only when moving to a new country or region for a long time.
    2. Add the card again from Payment options.
      • Open the Payment options page of the Microsoft account dashboard.
      • Select Add a new payment method.
      • Enter all details exactly as required.
      • If the card is not accepted, try the postal code both with spaces and without spaces.
    3. Verify the card and account details are current.
      • Keep bank, credit card, and Microsoft account contact details up to date.
      • Some banks require identity verification before a transaction is approved.
    4. Check for account or billing blocks that can stop Store purchases.
      • Confirm the card on Payment options is up to date.
      • Check the Services page for overdue subscription payments.
      • Check whether the Microsoft account is temporarily suspended.
    5. If the subscription is tied to a different payment flow, add the payment method from Services & subscriptions.
      • For a Microsoft subscription, a new payment method must be added on the Services & subscriptions page.
    6. If PayPal is being used instead of a card, make sure it has a valid funding source.
      • PayPal must have a credit card or confirmed bank account as its funding source.

If the card is from the USA while the Microsoft account/store region is Panama, align the account country/region and billing details with the payment method being used before trying again.
