What is the official channel for a verified site owner to request human review of a Bing name-search ranking?

am the verified owner of a website in Bing Webmaster Tools.

For the Bing search query [Moderator note: PII removed], Bing currently ranks a private commercial arrest-aggregation page as the first result, above my verified website and current published opinion writing. I am not reporting an autocomplete suggestion, requesting removal of content from the source website, or asking for technical indexing assistance.

I previously used Bing’s Report a Concern process, but the submission was classified as a “bingSearchSuggestion” complaint and generated a response directing me to the source webmaster. Bing Webmaster Support likewise provides no applicable category beyond “unable to add site.”

My question is procedural: What is Microsoft’s official channel for a verified site owner to request human review of the relevance and proportionality of an organic Bing search ranking?

If Microsoft offers no such review process, please confirm that directly. If one exists, please provide the exact form, support category, or Microsoft team to contact.

    Hi Jay Werther,

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide such details the next time you post to protect personal data. Also, avoid sharing direct links since the automated system might flag the post and delete it.

I understand why you're looking for a direct review path here, especially as a verified site owner. Unfortunately, based on the Microsoft documentation, Bing Webmaster Support (what you already found) is the only official support channel available to verified site owners for webmaster-related questions and support requests:

    1. Visit Webmaster Support - Bing Webmaster Tools
    2. Click Raise support request and wait for the team to connect.

There's also no specific instruction for requesting a human review. That said, some community members have shared that submitting a ticket under Bing Webmaster Tool Related > Other and explicitly requesting a "human engineer" resulted in a UCM ticket assigned to a Global Support Webmaster Engineer.

Note: Since this is feedback from community discussions rather than official documentation, I can't guarantee the same outcome in every case. You can try multiple times if previous attempts fail.

In addition, please note that requesting a review does not guarantee that an organic ranking decision will be changed simply because a site owner disagrees with the ordering of the results. Organic rankings are generated algorithmically and are not influenced by support requests. With that in mind:

    • Consider only contacting Bing Webmaster Support if you truly believe there may be an error, an enforcement action taken in error, or another issue that warrants further investigation.
    • Even if your request is reviewed, expect the outcome may be that no changes are made to the ranking, particularly if the search results are operating as intended.

I wish I could help more directly, but Microsoft Q&A is just a community forum where fellow users share their suggestions on issues within their knowledge. I hope this helps clarify the available options and points you to the correct place in this situation.
