Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    1

May I please know the make and model of your device?

Type msinfo in the search bar on the taskbar and click Enter.

Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.

    2

When was the last time you were able to use the camera on your device?

Open Device Manager (press Windows key + X).

Expand the arrow next to Cameras.

Post a screenshot of the page showing the camera driver installed.

    3

Do you get any error code or message when launching the Windows Camera app on your device?

Share the error message here for reference.

    Note -

    • If your device has a built-in privacy shutter, make sure it is open. You can refer to the documentation or manual to find where the shutter is located.
    • If you have a camera On or Off button on a function key, make sure it is turned ON. You may see a camera icon on the function keys (F1 - F12).
    • Also, ensure that camera permissions are enabled in the Privacy & Security > Camera section of Settings.
