I have a meeting email in my Outlook Classic client with a different icon than other meeting emails. It cannot be copied or moved to other folders, and the same happens in the web client. The event is not in my calendar because it shows as canceled in the Outlook email interface. I want to know why it has this icon and what is causing it. How can I avoid this situation in the future? It's causing my batch email backup to be interrupted. I've tested it many times but cannot reproduce emails with this icon. Please give me suggestions and answers, thank you.

The icon in question is for a New Appointment.
Are you able to delete the email/invite since it's been cancelled which might prevent that batch email backups having issues.
Unfortunately, there isn't a reliable way to prevent this from happening, and it's usually a rare mailbox inconsistency rather than something caused by user actions.
When I tried to reproduce this problem, I couldn't add other attendees when creating an appointment; adding attendees turned it into a meeting, and the icon wasn't the appointment icon after sending. If I simply created a new appointment, saved and closed it, I couldn't find it in my inbox. This is different from the problem I reported, so it's clear I can't reproduce the previous issue.
