If you purchased the domain through Microsoft, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly by submitting a support request through the Microsoft 365 admin center: 

-Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using your Microsoft 365 Business administrator account. 

-Select the Help & support (headset) icon. 

-If Support Assistant is enabled, turn it off. 

-Type contact support in the search box. 

-Select Contact support, then choose Phone or Email to submit your request. 

Microsoft Support has the appropriate tools to review your Domain Name Registration COM subscription and assist with your cancellation request.
