Hello support team,

Previously, we did not have an expiration policy configured for Anyone links. We have now set the organization-wide expiration period to 30 days.

Will this 30-day expiration policy also apply to existing/already shared Anyone links, or does it only apply to new Anyone links created after the policy was configured?

    Hi there Cyber,

The 30‑day expiration policy will only apply to new Anyone links created after the policy was turned on. Existing Anyone links that were shared before the policy was configured will not suddenly get a 30‑day expiry added to them.

If you want older Anyone links to expire, you’ll need to either:

    Manually remove them, or...

Re‑share the files so the new expiration policy applies.

    Kind regards
    Maximus
