    Hello SURAJ SAHU,

Sign in to OneDrive on the web and confirm:

    • Are all files missing, or only one folder?
    • What exact path appears in the “Location is not available” message?
    • Does OneDrive still show storage being used?

Also check the OneDrive Recycle Bin and confirm that you are signed in with the correct Microsoft account.

If the file is missing on both the PC and the mobile app, start from the OneDrive website because that is the main place where synced files are stored.

    1. Sign in to the OneDrive website at https://www.onedrive.com.
    2. Use Search everything at the top of the page to look for the missing file.
      • Search by filename, but also try descriptions, tags, dates, and places.
    3. Check Recycle bin on the left side of the OneDrive website.
      • If the file is there, select it and choose Restore.
    4. Make sure the correct Microsoft account is being used.
      • If files were saved under another Microsoft account, sign out and sign in again with that account.
    5. Check the local device in case the file was saved outside OneDrive or has not synced yet.
      • On Windows, search with File Explorer.
      • On mobile, search with the Files app.
      • Also check the computer Recycle bin or Trash.
    6. If this is a personal OneDrive and many files changed recently, and there is a Microsoft 365 subscription, Restore your OneDrive can roll the entire OneDrive back to a previous point within the last 30 days.
      • Caution: files or folders created after the restore point are moved to the OneDrive Recycle Bin.
    7. If OneDrive is not opening or signing in correctly on any device, verify the account credentials, update OneDrive to the latest version, and check whether a firewall, VPN, or internet provider is blocking access.

If the file was moved, renamed, or deleted before upload completed, OneDrive may show that it cannot find the file. If the file is open in another app, close that app and try again.
