I have to change password EVERY TIME ON EVERY DEVICE

Question

When I try to authenticate, I'm asked for a 2 digit number, like always. But the app gives me a 6 digit code. Then Microsoft was removed from the app. No idea why. I REMOVED the app. Reinstalled it. I put MS back in. Still get a 6 digit code. Today I'm asked for a 4 LETTER code but the app gives me 6 digits.

That's not the worst of it.

EVERY TIME, I'm asked to authenticate TWICE, even when I use my password because using the app doesn't work. I'm prompted to change my password. Yesterday on my laptop I changed it. Now on my phone I use my new password, but it still wants to authenticate twice, and prompts me to change my password. So I can't access MS on different devices because I keep having to change my password because I can't authenticate. I'm so frustrated. Like, can I do my job editing and formatting documents without MS? NO! But, I AM REALLY TIRED OF THIS SHIT. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I want to ask WHY this happens, but I'll be satisfied with how do I just fix this? 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I can't earn a living when I can't use the software I need because I have to jump through hoops CONSTANTLY!!
