Hello,

I am having issues with my outlook meeting invites. When I send a message regading an update to a meeting invite it sends it 3-4 times to each person. What do you think maybe the issue? Please advise.

Clarification please - If you look in your Sent Items, do you see the meeting update being sent multiple times? Or is it only the meeting attendees who see the multiple update messages?

Also, you tagged your Question as "Web | Outlook.com". Can you confirm that you are indeed using Outlook in a browser and not some other Outlook Client?

Hello,

Only meeting attendees see the invite in their inbox (3-4 times) same message sent with the updates. Outlook email app is where I encounter issues. Never used the browser when I am sending meeting invites.

Do you think it might be due to the outlook email cache?

Just to be sure I understand: (Please prefix your answers with my numbers to help keep things straight)

1 -- You see only one meeting update message in your Sent Items folder. But the meeting attendees see multiple updates in their Inbox?

2 -- The multiple emails problem is only when you send a meeting update. When you send the original meeting invitation the attendees only see one meeting invite in their Inbox?

3 -- This happens every time you send out a meeting update?

Never used the browser when I am sending meeting invites.

4 -- You don't use Outlook Web (Outlook in a browser) but I still need to know what Outlook desktop client are you using? Which one looks like what you see?

I'm not trying to fix the problem. Just gather up some data about your environment.

Thank you!! for looking into it, and it is for the New Outlook for windows. This issue applies to statement 1,3 and 4.

To confirm:

You are using New Outlook for Windows.

1 - You see only one meeting update message in your Sent Items folder. But the meeting attendees see multiple updates in their Inbox.

2 -- When you send the original meeting invitation the attendees only see one meeting invite in their Inbox.

3 -- This happens every time you send out a meeting update.

As a test the next time you need to do a meeting update:

Open and logon to Outlook Web https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/

Do the same steps (update the meeting and send the update) just like you would in New Outlook for Windows.

5 - Check with a meeting attendee. Did they get multiple meeting updates in their Inbox?
