Where do I find the details of my subscription?

I have a subscription but am unsure of the details of my subscription. Where do I find the details of my subscription?

Hi Patricia, 

To view and manage your subscription details, you can follow the steps below depending on the type of account you are using:

1/ If this is a work or school account 

If your subscription is associated with a business, work, or school account, you can check the subscription details through the Microsoft 365 admin center. 

• Go to https://admin.microsoft.com 
• Sign in with your work or school account. 
• In the left navigation menu, go to Billing > Your products. 
• From there, you can view details such as: 
  • Subscription name 
  • Subscription status 
  • Number of licenses purchased and assigned 
  • Renewal or expiration information 
  • Billing-related details, depending on your admin permissions 

You may need to be a Global admin or Billing admin to view full subscription and billing information. If you do not have admin access, please contact your organization’s Microsoft 365 administrator for assistance.

2/ If this is a personal Microsoft account 

If your subscription is associated with a personal Microsoft account, such as Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family, you can manage it from your Microsoft account services page. 

• Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services 
• Sign in with the Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription. 
• Locate your Microsoft 365 subscription. 
• Select Manage to view or update details such as: 
  • Subscription plan 
  • Renewal or expiration date 
  • Recurring billing status 
  • Payment method 
  • Sharing options, if applicable 
  • Cancellation or renewal options 

If you do not see the subscription listed, please make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the subscription. If the subscription was purchased through a third party, such as Apple, Google, or another retailer, you may need to manage it directly through that provider.

If this is a Microsoft 365 business subscription and admin access is available, the subscription details are in the Microsoft 365 admin center:

1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
2. If using Simplified view, select Subscriptions.
3. If using Dashboard view, go to Billing > Your products.
4. On Your products, review the list of subscriptions. It shows the product name, assigned licenses, total licenses, and subscription status.
5. Select a subscription to see more details.
6. If multiple billing accounts exist in Dashboard view, select Change billing account to view subscriptions for a different billing account.

Viewing organization subscriptions requires a global admin or billing admin role.
