I am trying to complete public identity validation for Azure Trusted Signing / Artifact Signing.

I received the Trusted Signing verification email, but clicking the “Verify email address” button returns:

“The request is blocked.”

Artifact Signing account:
camwisesigning

Resource group:
rg-camwise-signing

Country:
Netherlands

Context:
The email was sent to my organization/domain email address and forwarded to my personal Gmail inbox. I need to complete public identity validation to create a Public Trust certificate profile for code signing.

I tried opening the link in Edge and from the forwarded email, but the request remains blocked.

Can the Trusted Signing team unblock or reissue the verification email, or advise the required mailbox/email verification method?

For Artifact Signing identity validation, a new verification link cannot be reissued for the same request. If the email validation link has expired or email validation fails, the supported action is to start a new identity validation request.

Based on the documented requirements, use an email address that:

    1. Is not a distribution list.
    2. Can receive links from external email addresses directly.
    3. Matches the email address used to sign in when opening the identity validation link.

Since the message is returned from a forwarded message, the safest path is:

    1. Delete the current identity validation request.
    2. Submit a new identity validation request.
    3. Use the organization mailbox directly rather than a forwarded copy.
    4. Open the verification link while signed in with the same email address that was entered in the identity validation request.
    5. Complete the verification within seven days.

If the verification email is not received in the organization mailbox:

    1. Check Junk or Spam.
    2. Confirm the mailbox can receive messages from external senders and that emails containing links are not filtered.
    3. Ask the mail administrator to verify that firewall, security, or mail filtering policies are not blocking the message.
    4. If still not received, delete the current request and submit a new one.

If assistance is still needed after creating a new request, the documented support paths are Azure Support or Microsoft Q&A with the artifact-signing tag. Creating multiple in-progress requests for the same entity does not help, and identity validation requests cannot be expedited.
