New Outlook version

Question

I am trying out the new Outlook again. One thing I happened to notice is that I don't have the option to draw shapes in e-mails like I did the older version. I do use that from time to time when pointing to something specific in my e-mail.

Is there no way to get this or add this?

Based on my research, there is currently no option in New Outlook for Windows to draw shapes directly in the body of an email as you could in classic Outlook.

As a workaround, you may consider inserting graphics or a table and then add the corresponding text.

To locate these options:

• Open a new email compose window.
• Select Insert.
• Choose Graphics or Table, depending on your needs.

I agree that this would be a valuable addition to the New Outlook, and it’s a situation many others may run into as well. As sharing this kind of experience can be helpful for the product team when considering future improvements, I recommend submitting feedback through Outlook Feedback Portal.
