Hello,

I can't send or receive emails on my personal Outlook account. My mailbox settings say I have 9 GB out of 14 GB free.

This is the error message I get when I send an email from the System Administrator:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Sent:  8/4/2026 8:40 PM

This message could not be sent. The client operation failed. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator.

    Hi!

Where exactly did you see the information stating that you are using 9GB?

The error Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.QuotaExceededException: Microsoft Unified Storage is full. indicates a storage issue. The storage figure you saw might not represent the total amount.

Go to https://onedrive.live.com/ > Sign in with the same account used for Outlook Classic > In the bottom-right corner, click the blue text under "Storage" > It will show the total usage across everything (Email, OneDrive, etc.).

    enter image description here

In addition to checking this, please answer:

    1. Does the problem occur with all senders or only specific ones?
