  1. On 31 July I purchased a new I MAC4 including Microsoft 365 Personal ($157), which duly delivered on 4 August.
  2. Since then I have made several attempts to install the Microsoft 365 as for your activation instructions.
  3. I get to the final stage and insert my bank's verification code. Nothing happens. The prompts leads me back to previous phase where I am told to insert the verication code..
  4. Please help.

Best regards

Bill

    Hi, Bill Townsend

This appears to be a payment verification loop, not an installation problem. The bank code is normally required only while completing or confirming the purchase.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

First, sign in to Microsoft Services & subscriptions using the Microsoft account used for the purchase. If Microsoft 365 Personal is listed as active, do not repeat the bank verification. Select Install, download Microsoft 365, then open Word and sign in with the same account to activate it.

If the subscription is not listed, try the payment again in a private Safari window. Also temporarily disable pop-up blocking, content blockers, or antivirus web protection, because these can prevent the bank verification window from completing.

Confirm that the card details and contact information held by both your bank and Microsoft are current. Your bank may also need to approve the transaction manually.

Since Microsoft 365 was included with the iMac purchase, check the receipt or confirmation email for a 25-character product key. If provided, redeem it once at Microsoft 365 setup.

If payment was already taken but the subscription still does not appear, contact the retailer first, or contact Microsoft Support with the receipt and order details.
