There are two different places to check, depending on whether the account is a personal Microsoft account or a work/business Microsoft 365 account.
For a personal Microsoft account:
- Go to Microsoft account.
- Open Payment & billing.
- Select Order history.
- Use the order and date filters to find charges.
- Open Order details for a charge if a printable invoice is needed.
If a charge was made through a personal Microsoft account, it should appear in that account’s order history. If there are 3 Microsoft accounts, repeat those steps after signing in to each account separately and make sure the correct account is being used for each purchase.
For a business or work/school Microsoft 365 account:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with admin credentials.
- Go to Billing > Bills & payments to view invoices.
- Go to Billing > Subscriptions to view subscriptions.
- If needed, go to Billing > Billing accounts to see which billing accounts are associated with the organization.
If there are multiple business billing accounts, a default billing account can also be selected from Billing > Bills & payments > Change billing account.
A useful distinction:
- Personal account purchases are viewed from Payment & billing > Order history.
- Business Microsoft 365 billing is viewed in the Microsoft 365 admin center under Billing.
