GMAIL NOT DOWN LOADING TO OUTLOOK 2021

Hello,

Ever since downloading the latest update for Outlook Version 16.111.2 my G mails are not being imported. What can I do to correct this?

Please first sign in to Gmail.com and confirm that the new messages appear there. If they do, the problem is with Outlook’s local synchronization rather than Gmail delivery. Remove and add the Gmail account again through Outlook > Settings > Accounts > Add Email Account, completing the Google sign-in and selecting Allow when Google asks whether Outlook may access the mailbox.

Let me know if this works or if you have trouble adding it back, please.

Hi Jeronimo,

I cannot authenticate with Gmail. I deleted the Gmail in Outlook, then proceeded to create the new one but cannot get it to work with Gmail.

Any suggestions?

You need to click on the "Sign in to Google" button there; the browser should open, and then you need to input your Gmail data.

" is only a web-formatting code that represents a quotation mark ("). It appeared because the forum did not display the quotation marks correctly; it is not something you need to enter or select.

When I click on sign in with Google the browser opens but nothing happens. It says to come back and when I look back nothing has changed.
