Bing Places Listing Stuck on "Pending Publish" for 4 Months. Sent Countless Emails and No Response

Hello,

I am posting here because I need urgent manual intervention from a Microsoft employee to fix a broken business listing. It has been stuck in an endless dashboard loop for 4 months. I have sent countless emails to Bing Support and have received not a single response in any of my inboxes. I went to support and was told that the only way to get help was to email and that they couldn't assist on the chat.

Business Information:

  • Business Name: [moderator's note: PII removed]
  • Location: [moderator's note: PII removed]
  • Website: [moderator's note: PII removed]

The Issue: My dashboard explicitly states "Your verification is done, and now we're publishing your listing." The listing is fully verified and successfully synchronized with my active Google Business Profile.

Despite this, the overall status is completely frozen on "Pending publish" with a 7-12 day ETA that has been broken for months. I even tried manually uploading new assets to force a backend cache recalculation, but the system remains glitched.

Since my verification checks are completely finished and successful, this is an internal database error on Bing's side.

Can a forum moderator or Microsoft engineer please escalate this to the technical team to manually clear this glitch and push my listing live? I am attaching a screenshot of my dashboard showing the successful Google sync next to the stuck publishing banner.

Thank you.

    Hello Stuart,

I understand how frustrating it must be to see your verified listing remain stuck on “Pending publish” for four months, especially after contacting Bing Support multiple times without receiving a response.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot access the Bing Places backend, manually publish a listing or escalate an individual case directly to the engineering team.

Since the verification has already been completed, this situation will need to be reviewed by the Bing Places Support team. If you have an existing support case, please reply to the original confirmation email and include:

    • Your case or reference number
    • A screenshot showing the completed verification and pending status
    • The approximate date the listing was verified
    • A brief note that the listing has remained pending beyond the displayed publishing period

Please also check your Spam or Junk folder in case a response was filtered. If no case confirmation was received, submit a new request through Bing Places Support and mention the previous contact attempts.

For privacy and security, please do not post account details, verification documents, or support case numbers publicly.

I hope the support team can review the listing status and help move the case forward. Thank you so much for your understanding.
