Hi chuying jing
From the screenshot, Teams is displaying the message that teams does not yet support personal accounts (Preview), if you want to use a personal account, you can try open Teams on the web.
This usually indicates that the installed Teams client is configured for work or school accounts (Microsoft 365/Entra ID accounts) and currently does not support signing in with the Microsoft personal account being used.
- What type of account are you trying to sign in with? Microsoft personal account (Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, etc.) or work or school account (Microsoft 365 organization account)?
- Are you using the latest Teams client downloaded from Download Teams Desktop and Mobile Apps | Microsoft Teams
In the meantime, you can try:
If you are using a personal Microsoft account
- Use Teams on the web: https://teams.live.com
- Alternatively, uninstall the current Teams app and install the version that supports personal accounts if available in your region.
If you are using a work or school account
- Sign out of all Microsoft accounts in Teams.
- Clear the Teams cache: Close Teams completely >Press
Win + R and enter: %LocalAppData%\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache > Delete the cache contents.
- Restart Windows and sign in again.
If the issue persists, please let me know the type of account being used and provide any specific error messages displayed after entering the credentials.
I hope this helps and look forward to your response.
