If you created these shortcuts on your desktop then right click on each shortcut and look at its properties. You should see the address to your share point. When you click on the finance file does it show after Documents?

In One Drive, why is the complete path to folders/files not shown.
I have 4 x shortcuts that I access different sharepoint sites with.
The shortcut shows for 0.5 seconds in the route path across the top and then vanishes.
Aggg!!

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
As I checked, this could be a current behavior of One Drive web UI rather than a sync issue,
OneDrive treats the SharePoint location as a shortcut inside "My files" rather than displaying the full SharePoint site path continuously. As of now, there is currently nothing user can do to change it to display the full path. However, this doesn't affect the actual SharePoint path, you can still see the correct path by right clicking the files and choose "Details".
