    Hi,

It sounds like your browser may be automatically signing you in with your personal Microsoft account instead of your Microsoft 365 Business Standard work account.

Could you please try the following?

    1. Open an InPrivate/Incognito browser window and sign in to https://www.office.com using your Business Standard email address and password.
    2. If you’re already signed in with your personal account, sign out of all Microsoft accounts first, then try signing in again with your business account.
    3. If you see a “Which account do you want to use?” prompt, be sure to select the Work or school account rather than the Personal account.

If the issue continues, could you let me know:

    • Are you using the same email address for both your personal Microsoft account and your Business Standard account?
    • What happens when you try to sign in with the Business Standard account? Do you receive an error message, or does it automatically switch back to your personal account?
    • Is the Business Standard subscription assigned to your account by your organization’s Microsoft 365 admin?

Once I have this information, I’ll be happy to help you investigate further.

This usually means the subscription is tied to a different sign-in ID than the personal Microsoft account currently being used.

    Try this:

    1. Sign out completely from the Microsoft 365 sign-in page and any Microsoft account pages.
    2. Sign back in with the work or school account that was created for the Business Standard subscription, not the personal Microsoft account.
    3. If the Business Standard subscription was set up during purchase, check for an admin account in the @yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com format. That account is typically created as the initial admin account and has Global Admin rights.
    4. Check the Microsoft Authenticator app if it was used during setup, because the business admin account is often registered there for MFA.
    5. Search old Microsoft subscription or setup emails for the business account name or domain used when the subscription was created.

If the account keeps redirecting to the personal account, the most likely cause is that the Business Standard subscription is associated with a different email address.

If access to the business account is completely lost and it is the only admin account, this is not a missing-admin-rights issue. It requires Microsoft Data Protection team assistance to verify identity and recover access.

If the problem is specifically Outlook sign-in after reaching the business account, use the Microsoft support troubleshooter here: Sign in to this page.
