Hi Team,

I was scheduled to take the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator exam through Pearson VUE OnVUE.

During the identity verification process, I was informed that there is a mismatch between my legal name on my government ID and the name configured in my Microsoft certification profile.

My government ID (Aadhaar/Passport) contains only one name: Shivani.

However, my Microsoft certification profile is configured as:

First Name: Shivani Last Name: Shivani

The proctor informed me that due to this mismatch, I could not proceed with the exam.

Exam Details:

  • Exam: AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • Candidate ID: <mod: PII removed>
  • Registration ID: <mod: PII removed>
  • Order Number: <mod: PII removed>

Thank you for your assistance.

Have a look at:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/settings

Enter your legal name EXACTLY as it appears on your Government Issued ID. You must take this ID to the certification exam and the proctor will check that they match***. If you don't have a legal last name, please enter _ in the last name field.***
