We are unable to invite guest users to our Microsoft Entra ID tenant.

Whenever we try to invite an external user, we receive the following error message:

"Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity. Please contact Microsoft support for help."

Because of this, we are unable to add any guest users to the tenant.

We would appreciate your assistance in investigating why our directory has been blocked for guest invitations and what steps are required to remove this restriction.

Tenant ID:

Business Justification:

We need to invite external guest users because they are our clients and require access to reports and dashboards shared with them through Microsoft Entra ID and Power BI. Guest accounts are an essential part of our collaboration process, allowing clients to securely access only the reports and resources they are authorized to view.

    Hello @Reports Healthrix

I understand that your Microsoft Entra ID tenant is currently showing the message:

"Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity. Please contact Microsoft support for help."

Because of this, you are unable to invite external guest users, which is affecting your ability to share Power BI reports and dashboards with clients who rely on guest access for secure collaboration.

This message typically appears when Microsoft has applied a protection measure to a specific Microsoft Entra ID directory. The restriction is usually triggered when the service detects activity patterns that require additional verification before new B2B guest invitations can be sent.

As this message, I suggest that you can reach out to Microsoft Engineering Support via Microsoft Admin Center as my below guidance for direct support:

Please follow the detailed steps below.
