    Hello shruti

I'm sorry to hear that your other email has been hacked

To help determine the best next step, could you clarify what you mean by "hacked"?

    • Can you still sign in to other email?
    • Has the password, recovery email address, or phone number been changed?
    • Are you seeing suspicious emails being sent from the account?
    • Are you receiving any specific error messages when you try to sign in?

The answers will help identify whether this is an account recovery issue, a sign-in problem, or unauthorized access to an account that you can still access.

In the meantime, refer to this site for how to recover hacked account:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/manage/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account

Feel free reply back to this post and update me on this issue, I'll be happy to help.

If the Hotmail/Outlook.com account has been hacked, take these steps in order:

    1. Use the Microsoft sign-in helper immediately to start account recovery and get the right self-help steps or agent path: Start.
    2. Scan the PC for malware before changing the password. Run a full antivirus scan first. On Windows 8.1 or Windows 10/11, Windows Defender is available from Start and can be used to run the scan.
    3. Change the password after the malware scan completes. If sign-in no longer works, use the password reset option.
    4. Check account activity on the recent activity page to review when and where the account was accessed: https://account.live.com/activity.
    5. Review account settings that attackers commonly change:
      • connected accounts
      • forwarding
      • automatic replies If mail is being redirected, remove any forwarding or unexpected settings.
    6. Add or update security info so recovery is easier going forward. Add another email address or phone number on the account’s advanced security options.
    7. Turn on multi-factor authentication and make sure every account using that email address has a strong, unique password.
    8. Report spam or phishing messages that arrive in the inbox, and be extra cautious with messages asking to click links, open attachments, or call a number.

If the account is blocked because of unusual sign-in activity, use the Sign-in Helper to unblock it. If unblocking by security code or password change does not work, use the Microsoft account sign-in recovery path from that page.
