So, I had this laptop that had my main Microsoft account I used to play games on Xbox cloud gaming and I paid for a month of game pass ultimate and I have it connected to my TV as well but the thing is I never had a backup email or phone number connected to it and my tv for some reason doesn't reveal my Microsoft accounts username. One day my laptop just stopped working completely and I tried to connect my Microsoft account to a new laptop, but when I put in the username it was incorrect and I tried every possible combination I could think of, but nothing worked at all. I tried to look through my phones Gmail account and look at any notifications of when I paid for the subscription, and I found the username, but it was just some of my username and the rest was just dots and I now can't figure it out. How do I fix this and find out the rest of my user? I know my password, I know the rest of my username, it's just those few random numbers in the middle of my username. If there is no way to fix it, could someone help me get it back please? This is a very special account to me.

If no security information was ever added, the supported ways to recover the full username are limited to checking products or services where that account was already used.

    Try these paths:

    1. On any Windows 10/11 device where that account is already signed in, go to Start > Settings > Accounts. Under Email & app accounts, the usernames associated with the device are shown.
    2. In any Office app already signed in with that account, open Word or Excel > File > Account. Under Product Information, check Belongs to for the associated username.
    3. Check all email accounts for Microsoft mails or receipts for purchases such as subscriptions or digital purchases.
    4. For Xbox, use the Xbox walkthrough to find the Microsoft email address tied to the profile.

If the username lookup was not successful, Microsoft also recommends checking other products or services associated with the account.

If the account username is known but not recognized anymore, or if sign-in says "We couldn't find an account with that username", use the Sign-in Helper tool. If that still does not resolve it, use Contact support from the account recovery guidance and tell the support advocate that the username has stopped working.

If the account has not been signed in to for more than two years, it may have been deleted and can no longer be reopened.
