I can not shut down or restart my pc.

I went to restart my computer by using the start menu and clicking the power button, but there is a message "There are currently no power options available" displayed instead of the normal "Sleep-restart-shut down" menu. What happened? How can I restore the normal options? I can only shut down using my power button on the case.

Have you installed a browser named the Respondus/LockDown browser on your PC perhaps for taking an online exam, that is the usual cause of this problem.

If you have not installed that browser:

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.
