    Dear @ALINANUSWE MALONGO,

    I hope you’re having a good day.

Based on the error code you've provided (30015-11), the Office installation is failing before it can complete successfully. From what I've seen, this error is commonly associated with remnants of a previous Office installation, corrupted installation files, Windows update issues, or software on the PC interfering with the installation process.

Before we investigate further, I would recommend trying the following steps in order:

    Step 1: Restart your PC

If you haven't already done so, restart the computer and try the installation again.

A pending Windows update or a setup process running in the background can sometimes prevent Office from installing correctly.

Step 2: Remove any previous Office installation

If Office was previously installed on this device, even partially, leftover files can cause error 30015-11.

Download the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) Office uninstall tool: Uninstall Microsoft 365 or Office from a PC | Microsoft Support

    Step 3: Check Windows Update

Make sure Windows is fully updated before attempting the installation again. Outdated Windows components can cause Office setup failures.

Open Settings > Go to Windows Update > Select Check for updates > Install all available updates > Restart the computer.

    Step 4: Install Office again

    After completing the previous steps:

    • Sign in to your Microsoft account or school account.
    • Download Office from the official Microsoft portal.
    • Right-click the installer and choose Run as administrator.
    • Wait for the installation to complete.

Step 5: Temporarily disable third-party antivirus software

If you're using third-party antivirus or endpoint protection software, try temporarily disabling it during the installation and then test again. Security software can sometimes interfere with Office installation files.

To help narrow down the cause further, could you also let me know:

    • Which Office product are you trying to install (Microsoft 365, Office 2021, Office 2019, etc.)?
    • Is this a personal PC or a school-managed device?
    • Did this PC previously have another version of Office installed?
    • Are you installing from the Microsoft 365 portal or from another installer?

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction. If you run into any issues while trying the steps, or if something still doesn’t feel quite right, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’ll do my best to support you however I can.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.

    Warm regards,
