Run the installation. After it finishes installing, log in with the Microsoft account that has Office 365.

You need to meet the minimum requirements to have all the Office functions on your Mac.

If the product is a Microsoft 365 subscription, there is no transfer process. Install it on the Mac using the same account that was used on the PC.

1. Go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps and select Sign in.
2. Sign in with the account associated with Microsoft 365 or Office.
3. From the Microsoft 365 Apps page, select Install apps to start the download.
4. When the download finishes, open Finder > Downloads and double-click Microsoft Office installer.pkg.
5. In the installer, select Continue, review the license agreement, select Agree, choose the install options, and then select Install.
6. Enter the Mac login password if prompted, then finish the installation.
7. After installation, open Launchpad and start Word or another Office app.
8. In the What’s New window, select Get Started to activate Office on the Mac.

If the installer says Microsoft Office installer.pkg is from an unidentified developer, wait 10 seconds, move the file to the desktop, then hold Control and click the file to launch the installer.

If this is a reinstall on another computer:

• Microsoft 365 subscriptions can be installed on all devices and signed in on five devices at the same time.
• For a one-time purchase of Office, it can be installed on only 1 PC or Mac.
