I cannot access Microsoft Teams in my web browser with my work credentials. When I attempt to log in, the following message appears:

    Hi Mia Jane

This error is usually caused by cached credentials or multiple Microsoft accounts being signed in within the browser. Here are some recommended steps you can try:

    • Clear browser cookies and cache, then reopen the browser and sign in Teams again. (In Edge/Chrome, you can try to press Ctrl + Shift + Delete > select Clear now)
    • Open Teams in an InPrivate/Incognito window and sign in with only your work account.
    • Sign out of all Microsoft accounts and close the browser completely, then reopen it before signing in again
    • Test with a different browser. Also, check whether you can access other Microsoft 365 services, such as Outlook on the web.

If the issue persists, please contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to verify that your Teams license is assigned correctly, there are no Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) sign-in issues, and the account can access other Microsoft 365 services successfully.
