Dear Support Team,

We currently have 3 Visio Plan licenses that were set to stop auto-renewal on August 5, 2026. However, the licenses were automatically renewed, and an invoice has been issued for the period August 6, 2026 – September 5, 2026.

I have now removed all 3 licenses from our account. Could you please advise if there is any way to fully cancel this renewal and have the charges for the August renewal period waived?

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

Thank you for your support.

    Dear Michelle Nguyen ,

I have already canceled the subscription and turned off the auto-renewal option. However, I can still see that the subscription has been renewed for another year until August 5, 2027, and an invoice has been issued for the period August 5, 2026 – September 5, 2026.

I have attached screenshots for your reference. Could you please help check and confirm whether this subscription has been fully canceled?

If it has not been fully canceled yet, please advise us on how we can completely cancel the subscription and prevent any further charges.

If the subscription has already been canceled, could you also please confirm whether the amount charged for the period August 5, 2026 – September 5, 2026 will be refunded to our company account?

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

    Thank you for your support.

    Best regards,

    Hi @Admin Tran Ngoc Hoi

Based on the information you provided, I understand that your three Visio Plan licenses were expected to stop auto-renewing on August 5, 2026. However, the subscription was renewed, and an invoice was issued for the billing period from August 6, 2026 through September 5, 2026. You have since removed all three licenses and would now like to fully cancel the renewal and request that the related charges be waived.

First, please note that removing licenses from users does not cancel the underlying subscription. To stop the Visio Plan subscription from renewing, you need to cancel the subscription or turn off recurring billing in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using an account with the Billing Administrator or Global Administrator role.
    2. Go to Billing > Your products.
    3. Select the relevant Visio Plan subscription.
    4. Choose one of the following options:
      • Cancel subscription to cancel the subscription.
      • Edit recurring billing > Off to prevent the subscription from renewing again.
    5. Confirm that the subscription status shows Canceled, Disabled, or Expires on [date].

Please refer the following article: Cancel your subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center

Please be aware that turning off recurring billing does not immediately deactivate the service. The subscription will remain active until its expiration date, but it should not renew again.
