Using older versions of Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar
Hi barbara brown,
I understand that you want to remove an audio message showing as 366 bytes, but it is unclear where the item appears.
Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access or delete files from your device or account.
Could you please confirm the following?
- Does the audio message appear in Legacy Outlook for Mac, on an Outlook webpage opened in Safari, or in the Mac Downloads folder?
- Is it attached to a received email, a sent email, or a draft?
- What happens when you select the message or the arrow beside the attachment?
If it is an attachment in a received message in Legacy Outlook, open the email, select the arrow beside the attachment, and choose Remove. You can also delete the entire email and then empty Deleted Items if the email is no longer needed. See View and save attachments in Outlook for Mac.
Please share a screenshot showing where the item appears, but remove any email addresses or other personal information first. This will help identify the correct deletion steps.
