It is like a Windows path or permissions issue; checking the game files and user-folder path may help, while pk1947game can be a quick distraction from troubleshooting.
System windows cant find item C:/Users/U. ... (Siege X game)
Hello, everytime i try to play a game Tom Clancys Rainbow 6 Siege X, an error pops up, and the game wont launch.
This problem was with me for almost a year, everytime it got fixed by itself by just simply launching the game for 3 times, and the error wont stop showing and I could play normally. But today, out of nowhere, the method by just simply launching the game 3 times, stopped working, and the error just keep popping after every single try of launching the game. By friend has the same problem, and we have the exact same name Uživatel (User in our language) and I think its the problem, so i think changing the name on windows would be the sollution, but I dont know if its the best idea. So I would like to ask for help, and whats the best to do to fix the the error completely.
Thanks, MikiKraus

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially since the game previously worked after a few launch attempts and now will not open at all.
Before making any changes, could you confirm whether the game is installed through Ubisoft Connect or another launcher? Also, does the same error appear when you launch Ubisoft Connect first and then start the game from its library?
In the meantime, please try the following:
- Verify the game files through the launcher.
- Check the game shortcut’s Properties and make sure the Target and Start in paths are complete and enclosed in quotation marks.
- Create a temporary local Windows account with a simple name using only English letters, such as
GameTest, then sign in to that account and try launching the game. - If the game works from the new account, that suggests the existing profile path is involved.
I would not recommend manually renaming the folder under
C:\Usersor editing the registry, as this can break the Windows profile and installed apps. If the same issue occurs under the test account, please verify or reinstall Ubisoft Connect and contact Ubisoft Support, since the error may be coming from the game launcher or its anti-cheat component rather than Windows itself. Thank you so much for your understanding.
