Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi,
Thank you for the detailed information.
Based on what you've described, this appears to be less of an issue with your SCT-mail.com mailbox itself and more likely a Windows laptop authentication or network connectivity problem. Since Outlook, Teams sign-in verification, and even Bing browsing are all experiencing issues on the same device, while your email works normally on your iPhone and iPad, the problem is likely isolated to the laptop.
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1/ Verify the laptop can reach Microsoft sign-in services
To determine whether the issue is related to the device or network:
- Open a different web browser on the laptop (such as Chrome, if available).
- Try accessing:
- Outlook on the web: https://outlook.office.com/
- Teams on the web: https://teams.cloud.microsoft/
- If possible, connect the laptop to a different internet connection, such as a mobile phone hotspot, and test again.
2/ Reset the browser authentication cache
Outlook and Teams use web-based authentication behind the scenes, so clearing browser data can help.
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Navigate to
edge://settings/clearBrowserData - Clear:
- Cookies
- Cached images and files
- Site permissions (if available)
- Then navigate to:
edge://settings/reset - Select Restore settings to their default values > Reset.
- Restart the laptop.
After restarting, try signing in to Teams and Outlook again.
3/ Remove and re-add your work account in Windows
This can resolve corrupted authentication tokens.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school.
- Select your company/SCT-mail.com account.
- Click Disconnect.
- Restart the laptop.
- Return to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school.
- Click Connect.
- Sign in with your account again.
4/ Clear stored Microsoft credentials
Old or corrupted credentials can prevent successful sign-in.
- Open Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager.
- Select Windows Credentials.
- Remove any entries related to:
- Microsoft 365
- Office
- Outlook
- Teams
- Restart the computer.
- Sign back in to Microsoft 365 applications.
