Back to font size and Outlook: I am able to increase the size of the font in the main pain by using the zoom feature, I can use the setting to change the other column (2nd from left). what I cant do is change the files column to make those legible - yep I agree more flexibility please.

    Hi Waimirirangi,

Thank you for raising your concern.

From my research, if the"files column" you mentioned refers to the Folder Pane (Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Archive, etc.) in Classic Outlook, there is currently no built-in setting to independently adjust the font size for that pane. Outlook only provides font customization options for the Message List (email list) through View > View Settings > Other Settings > Row Font / Column Font, while the Folder Pane follows the Windows display and text scaling settings.

However, this forum is primarily focused on user-to-user support, and as a fellow user, I do not have any influence over Microsoft product design or feature development.

Therefore, if you would like Microsoft to consider adding this capability in a future update, I recommend submitting your feedback through the official Feedback Portal. This is the appropriate channel for product feedback, feature requests, and usability suggestions, as the Outlook product team actively reviews submissions there.

Once you've submitted your feedback, feel free to share the link here in the comments. I’ll be happy to upvote it to help bring more visibility.

Additionally, since many other users have raised similar concerns but may not be aware of where to submit product feedback, if my response has helped clarify the situation and pointed you toward a possible next step, please consider upvoting it. Doing so can help make this discussion more visible to others in the community who may be experiencing the same issue and are looking for guidance or a way to support similar feedback.

I hope the information helps guide you to the next steps. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
