So, when you connect the docking station to your laptop, does it give an "Unknown USB Device" error?

I plug my usb in that is connected to my docking station and nothing happens

If possible, please test the USB connection directly on the laptop to see if it is recognized. If it isn't, try testing it on another PC to check if the USB cable itself is faulty.

There are DisplayLink models ranging from older ones to the latest versions.
Just to clarify: was it the DisplayLink docking station itself that didn't work, or were peripherals connected to the docking station not being detected?
