Getting Sorry, something went wrong error message. Item does not exist. I just created and worked on it 6 hours ago. Ugh, so sick of these things cutting into productivity.

Now it's saying I don't have access to my email account. Yet I can bring up every other file I've created in OneDrive. Help!

    Hello Ron Johnson

I can see that your Excel couldn't find and open the file you just created 6 hours ago

Here what you can do, please sign in directly at OneDrive.com using the same Microsoft account used in Excel, then:

    1. Search for the workbook by name rather than opening it from the original link or Recent list.
    2. Check My files, Recent, and the Recycle bin.
    3. If the file appears, select it and try Download or Open in desktop app.
    4. If it opens but the latest changes are missing, right-click the file and check Version history.
    5. Try OneDrive in a private or InPrivate browser window to rule out a cached sign-in from another account.

If the workbook does not appear anywhere on OneDrive, check Excel’s Recent list and the local OneDrive folder on the device where it was created. The file may have remained local if synchronization or account access failed.

If it still cannot be found or the same access error continues, contact Microsoft Support and provide the correlation ID and timestamp from the error. Please remove your email address from the public post for privacy.

I hope you are able to find the workbook.

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help.
