Minecraft account defaulting to a hacked account. Repurchased and need to reset.

Microsoft account hacked. Defaulting to a hacked email account I can't sign into. Minecraft account defaulting to same hacked email account. I gave up on Microsoft and resorted to creating a new hotmail email and repurchased Minecraft Java, however it is still defaulting on sign in to the hacked account and not allowing me to change the sign in to my new account. Please help me either a. Reset the hacked email that is ******@hotmail.com (preferred assistance) or if not possible than b. help me reset Microsoft on my computer so I can log in with a fresh account.

    Hello. When you try to sign in to the old Hotmail account directly at account.microsoft.com, what exactly happens? Where exactly is the old account being forced when you try to use the newly purchased Minecraft license: the Minecraft Launcher itself, the Xbox app, or the Microsoft Store?

    In Windows, go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts. Under “Accounts used by other apps,” is the compromised Hotmail account still listed there?
