Request for Assistance – Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Certification Renewal

Dear Microsoft Credentials Support Team,

I’m reaching out regarding my Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification.

I received a renewal notification stating that my certification was eligible for renewal and that I needed to complete the renewal assessment by June 17, 2026 (UTC). Unfortunately, I missed the renewal deadline and was unable to complete the assessment within the renewal window.

I would like to continue maintaining this certification and would appreciate your guidance on whether there is any possibility of reopening the renewal assessment or providing an extension in my case.

If the renewal window cannot be reopened, could you please advise me on the next steps to re-earn the certification and whether I need to retake the DP-700 exam?
